Honestly we can’t say enough great things about them. BOX was an eleven out of ten. They were easily the most complimented aspect of our wedding. Almost everyone we spoke to after the wedding raved about the band, regardless of age. And we were repeatedly asked for their name and where they came from. Several of my friends were following them on Instagram by the next day. I thought I was being a little biased given it was my wedding and I had an amazing time. But so many people commented how they’d never been to a wedding where the dance floor was that packed for the entire night. BPX had such high energy and seemed like they really enjoy what they do. Their set list was great and catered to 34 generations. And we loved how they roll from one song to the next. Man, there aren’t many times that I am blown away by a band, as being a concert producer and venue owner, I see hundreds a year, but this band blew myself & every attendee away. I got 5 or 6 texts within 24 hours asking the name of the band. They brought the energy, the choreography and dancing with the songs brought electricity to the room that I didn’t think was possible. They were also great to work, esp with having special guest Jon Langston take the stage for a song, and then got right back at it. We wished we could have kept the party going all night because I know the crowd would have stayed stage side all night with BPX. Here is some feedback for the Saturday October 16 wedding located at The Mill at Rock Creek, Blowing Rock NC. Barringer Renegar wedding. BPX band was unbelievable. We added a sax player to their usual lineup. Spoke with most band members at sound check. All incredibly nice, warm and friendly people. All introductions and dance versions were spot on. They did a sax improvisation for Tupelo Honey by Van Morrison that was fantastic. After dinner they started playing and the dance floor was immediately overflowing at the FIRST SONG, with basically most of the 200+ guests dancing or involved. This NEVER stopped until the final send off. I repeat, the dancing NEVER stopped. Hats off to their professionalism, engagement and interaction with the audience. As mother of the bride, I would be glad to share my thoughts about the Block Party Experience. When we were pinpointing the things that were our top priorities, a good band was in the top three. Block Party Experience was phenomenal. The band was vocally amazing, super entertaining, and a definite crowd pleaser. The dance floor was full the entire time. I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have a great band experience. The band had such high energy which was evident throughout the entire night. They didn't once stop, and that really made the night unforgettable. I couldn’t have asked for a better performance from a band! Performance wise, the songs they played were perfect while engaging the crowd at the same time. The dance floor was packed from the start to the end of our reception. BPX was definitely the highlight of the night. Their crew even helped resolve a stage issue we had and we were so thankful! They were so nice and stepped in with their professional opinion so that we could utilize our space more efficiently, as we were expecting large crowd I have had so many comments on how great the band was! They played for nearly three hours straight without a break, deftly moving from classic tunes to our requested era of late aughts and 2010s popular music. There were moments that felt like a Beyonce concert, inventive rap medleys, classic head bangers and everything in between. They must have played samples of over 50 songs in total. The newlyweds loved being called up on stage to dance in front of the crowd as they played the final song, the Kygo remix of Whitney Houston's Higher Love. We cannot recommend TAPE enough and hope to see them live again someday. Megafly was amazing!! So nice and very easy to work with. Everyone at the party said it was the best party yet and the food was a big bust this year so I 100% attribute those comments to the band. The dance floor was on fire all night long. They were easily the most complimented aspect of our wedding. Almost everyone we spoke to after the wedding raved about the band, regardless of age. And we were repeatedly asked for their name and where they came from. Several of my friends were following them on Instagram by the next day. Their set list was great and catered to 3 generations. Their playstyle (blending each song into each other, not taking breaks) created an energizing atmosphere and meant people stayed on the dance floor much longer than what I would have expected. Their song selection also resonated strongly with Rachel and I, as well as with the rest of the attendees. I don't think I've ever seen a wedding reception audience ask for an encore from a band, but that's what happened at our wedding. Afterwards, the band was singled out as the highlight of the evening by almost everyone we talked to. And in terms of working with the band, Rachel and I had no issues whatsoever.
