The newlyweds loved being called up on stage to dance in front of the crowd as they played the final song, the Kygo remix of Whitney Houston's Higher Love. We cannot recommend TAPE enough and hope to see them live again someday. Megafly was amazing!! So nice and very easy to work with. Everyone at the party said it was the best party yet and the food was a big bust this year so I 100% attribute those comments to the band. The dance floor was on fire all night long. They were easily the most complimented aspect of our wedding. Almost everyone we spoke to after the wedding raved about the band, regardless of age. And we were repeatedly asked for their name and where they came from. Several of my friends were following them on Instagram by the next day. Their set list was great and catered to 3 generations. Almost every person that I’ve talked to after the wedding was praising the band. Usually with bands, I can tell they are covering of a song, but The After Party Experience didn’t give me that feeling at all. Rather, they did an excellent job at making the songs their own and getting the guests into the music. The ordering was perfect, with the Latin songs coming first and the more traditional wedding songs after. I made a lot of song suggestions that I didn’t see on their website—obviously knew they wouldn’t know how to perform a lot of them—but I feel like they took what they saw from that and made a playlist that really reflected my husband and I’s music preferences (Latin, 80’s, disco, and pop). TAPE was also very flexible. The wedding was delayed due to rain so we had to make some last minute changes to the order of events. They were great sports about just rolling with it. TAPE did an amazing job and it wouldn’t have been the same without their hard work. The After Party Experience is the best band ever. I repeat…The After Party Experience is the best band ever. The group of talented artists is high energy, fun and entertaining. The moment they stepped onto the stage, they brought it and turned our reception into a fullblown concert. In fact, before dinner was evenserved and a whole 3045 minutes before the dancing portion was scheduled to start, our guests were on the dance floor. Weeks before our big weekend, the bandleader Daniel contacted us and had me fill out an easy questionnaire. He followed up and wanted to know exactly what we were looking for so that he could get a feel for the night and how they could prepare. The band was not only prepared but they exceeded all expectations. We had recordings we needed them to play. They did that. We had announcements and introductions for the reception. They did that.They performed the songs live for our first dance and mothers/sons dance. I thought I wanted the recorded, original versions but Daniel confidently said his performers would be happy to do it live…thank god I Listened. It was beautiful.The vocalists were outstanding. The musicians were spectacular. They danced! They came with colorful lights for the stage we setup making the already incredible show visually stunning. There’s also a DJ allowing the band to take built in breaks. The music sounded so good…at times,I had to look at the stage to see if it was the band performing live music or the DJ. Hip hop, R&B, pop, rock…The After Party Experience can do it all. I could go on and on but I’ll simply say BOOK THISBAND. The cost of this band was also a great value but at this point, I feel like I underpaid. You will not be disappointed. And you will dance all night long! I cannot say enough great things about the After Party Experience band. Daniel was so easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make the night the best ever for us. We were able to text, email, and talk several times before the reception, they learned to play a new song for our first dance, and even played a UGA marching band tune for our exit. The venue said they were easy to work with and were timely. They were very flexible during the night when we got a little behind and only took one of the two allotted breaks. All of the guests at the reception could not stop talking about what a fun group they were. People who do not normally dance were on the dance floor all night. Several of my parent's friends said they had planned on it being an early and reserved night, but stayed and danced till the end because they didn't want to miss out. From learning new things, to getting down with the crowd and dancing on the dance floor, to making sure everyone at the reception was having a blast, the After Party Experience made the night so fun and great. Their song list is extensive. From the minute they started playing everyone was on the dance floor. Our guests still rave about how awesome they were and our photos from the night are incredible. You can genuinely tell how happy everyone was that night and how much fun our guests had dancing. This is what we will remember about our wedding day. Four generations of family members and friends all dancing together on the dance floor. We can't wait to get our wedding video back to see them playing again. We added a sax player to their usual lineup. Spoke with most band members at sound check. All incredibly nice, warm and friendly people. All introductions and dance versions were spot on. They did a sax improvisation for Tupelo Honey by Van Morrison that was fantastic. After dinner they started playing and the dance floor was immediately overflowing at the FIRST SONG, with basically most of the 200+ guests dancing or involved.
